How we laughed when our website got hacked! 🙄
You can still get tickets on Eventbrite and RSVP on Meetup.
Hello!
I hope you’re having a great weekend.
Me? Not so much. All of my websites are down.
Why? The simple answer is that three malware files were found on the server that Bluehost uses to provide my sites. The bad files have been deleted, and they were never part of our sites anyway, so they weren’t really a threat. However, my sites are blacklisted, and Bluehost has suspended my account until it is cleared up, which means I can’t even redirect the URLs to somewhere useful - like this post! 🙄
Also, MacLeod’s agreed with us that it would be silly to host a Trivia night at exactly the same time as our events (there is very limited parking at MacLeod’s). So unfortunately, we will no longer be having Fish And Bear there on Wednesday nights. Not to worry, we still have the Parlor Room at Church Of The Valley every Tuesday and just started up at The Valley Hive every second Thursday.
Sometimes you just have to do what you can, keep your arms and legs within the car, and do your best to enjoy the ride.
Whilst the Fish And Bear site is down, you can still book tickets on our Eventbrite or Meetup pages.
And right now I’m smiling. Smiling because I just remembered that at FishAndBear last week, someone pointed out how the funniest of stories are often not funny at the time. And now I can’t wait for this saga to be funny! 😄
There is still beauty in the world, and to prove it, here is a little video that the lovely guys at Just Vibes cafe posted from our event on Thursday. (They opened their wonderful Airstream cafe for us AND took part in Fish & Bear too!)
Hope to see you soon.
Mark
